General Motors Automobile Corporation Financial Services assists customers who have leased a GM vehicle through its SmartLease financing program in managing their account information. When making SmartLease payments by check or writing a billing inquiry, customers often include the account number before sending. If you need to find out your GMAC SmartLease account number, you can locate the information in several easy ways.

Gather the lease paperwork packet with your initial leasing information in it. This will contain the SmartLease account number assigned to the GMAC vehicle leased. The account number is located on the first page of the enclosed Welcome Letter, on the upper-right side directly below the GMAC Financial Services company info.

Look at any of your monthly GMAC SmartLease billing statements. You can obtain these from GMAC Financial Services if you cannot find the initial leasing paperwork. The SmartLease account number appears on the first page of the statement.

Sign into the GMAC Financial Services Account Center at Ally (ally.com), if registration for online account information access has been previously set up. Log in with the proper user email address and current password. Once logged in successfully, the vehicle SmartLease account number will appear on the Account Profile page.

Call GMAC Financial Services Automotive Financing Customer Service directly at 1-800-32-SMART (1-800-327-6278), if you cannot find the SmartLease account number by any another method. Answer the customer service agent's identifying questions such as the name on the lease and vehicle information, and then ask for your account number.
