Financial Help Groups

Almost everyone experiences financial difficulty at some point in their life. Maybe you lost your job, or insurance did not cover all the medical bills or you just let your spending get out of control. Whatever the reason, difficult financial situations are a part of modern life. There are financial support groups available where you can find caring, experienced people who know what you are going through.

Financial Challenges Support Group

The Financial Challenges Support is an online financial support group hosted by Daily Strength. It offers a community of people who either have worked through or are working through similar financial problems.

Financial Problems Support Group

SupportGroups.com hosts a financial help support group site called Financial Problems. This active online forum has dozens of members who can offer perspective and advice on dealing with financial problems.

Debtors Anonymous

Debtors Anonymous (DA) is an organization based on fellowship, and members share their experience, strength and hope for the future with each other so that they may solve their common financial problems. The only requirement to become a member is wanting to stop incurring unsecured debt. There are no dues for DA membership; members contribute based on their means. DA is not a religious organization and is not affiliated with any denomination, politic party or other institution. It neither endorses nor opposes any causes. DA is a 12-step program where you admit you have a problem and work the steps every day to improve yourself. You can find a local Debtors Anonymous meeting using the "Find a DA Meeting" locator in the Resource section.
