How to Reduce High Interest Credit Card Debt

How to Reduce High Interest Credit Card Debt

Tired of paying thousands of dollars in interest every year. Do you want to put money back in your pocket and pay off your debt quicker. Here's how

Instructions

    1

The best way to reduce high interest rates on credit cards is to call the credit card companies yourself and negotiate a lower interest. Don't pay someone to do something you can do yourself.

    2

Call the company but have a credit card application in front of you from a different card company other than the one your calling about. Ask them to lower you interest rate on your current card. They will probably give you a reason they can't do it. That's when you tell them you will cancel the card and transfer the balance over to your new card. A application with zero percent interest is a good negotiating tool.

    3

When you threaten them with switching companies they will more than likely reduce your interest rate for you. If you don't plan on using the card you can tell them you are trying to start a business and plan on using the card for business expenses in the future. Promise not to spend anything on the card for a period of time and they will reduce it for that reason as well.
