How to Claim Unemployment Benefits Online in Arkansas

If you have already filed for unemployment in Arkansas, you can complete your weekly claim forms online instead of filling out a paper form or certifying your unemployment over the phone. As of December 2010, however, you cannot file an initial unemployment claim online in Arkansas. In the future, you will be able to do so on EZARC, or Easy Arkansas Claims. No deployment date for the online system has been announced.

Instructions

    1

Visit the ArkNet website (see Resources). It is the Arkansas online claims filing website.

    2

Enter in your Social Security number, date of birth and PIN. Click on the "Login" button to be taken to the online claim form.

    3

Answer the online questions regarding your job search efforts, availability for work and earned income during the week. If you have earned wages, even if you have not yet been paid, you must disclose the amount earned and the employer. Verify your answers and click on "Submit" to file your weekly claim. You only have 15 minutes to complete your online claim before the system automatically logs you out.
